「嗅覚ディスプレイ」は匂い（香り）をヒトへ提示するデバイスです。
また、複数の匂い（香り）をリアルタイムで調合して、さらに匂いの濃度変化が可能なデバイスを「多成分調合嗅覚ディスプレイ」と呼びます。
本研究室が研究・開発を進めてきた「20成分調合嗅覚ディスプレイ」は、それぞれのチャンネルに充填した液体香料を任意の比率で調合し必要に応じた提示時間を確保することが可能です（図１：嗅覚ディスプレイシステムの全体写真、図２：ユーザーによる嗅覚ディスプレイの体験）。
この嗅覚ディスプレイはメーカーにて製作可能です。 現在、細部にわたり性能の向上や改善点を反映させた改良型が製作進行中です。
The “olfactory display” is a device that presents scents (fragrances) to humans.
Additionally, a device capable of blending multiple scents in real time and adjusting their concentration levels is called a “multi-component olfactory display.”
The “20-Component Olfactory Display” developed in our laboratory can blend liquid fragrances filled into each channel at arbitrary ratios and ensure the required presentation time as needed (Figure 1: Overall Olfactory Display System; Figure 2: User Experience with the Olfactory Display System).
A manufacture can make this olfactory display. An improved version incorporating detailed performance enhancements and refinements is currently in production.
